About the job ABOUT THE JOB:
At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to
meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We have an opening
for a Reliability Engineer inourMinster, Ohioyogurt manufacturing
plant. As a Reliability Engineer, you will maximize the performance
of packaging equipment & systems using continuous improvement tools
and standards and will be directly responsible for leading the
mechanics supporting their team. Reliability Engineers are
responsible for daily tactical execution of Daily Direction Setting
priorities, coordination of mechanics, and execution and follow up
of planned work. In addition, you will be responsible for providing
input to planned maintenance strategies that support safety, people
engagement, quality, cost, reliability and continuous improvement
initiatives.
Additionally, routine responsibilities include: Monitoring planned
and unplanned downtime, breakdowns, MTBF, MTTR metrics for their
lines. Coaching Operators and Mechanics in the use of CI tools and
standards at the line level (IE. Center Lining and defects
identification). Facilitating and or active participation in Root
Cause Analysis discovery, execution, and trending improvements.
Collaborating with / directing both hourly & salary personnel in
the resolution of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Mobilization, &
Nature (SQCDMN) initiatives. Ensure the safety of our people and
our products always. Other duties as assigned.

ABOUT YOU:
You have an associate degree in a technical discipline or
educational equivalent, required. A bachelor's degree in any
Engineering discipline is preferred. You have knowledge of
continuous improvement methods and have strong troubleshooting and
problem-solving ability, required. Preferably, you also have
knowledge of flow and valves, have dairy and/or food processing
experience, have TPM experience, and have maintenance leadership
experience. You are proficient in the use of computers. You can
effectively multi-task and prioritize tasks and are adaptable,
flexible, resilient and self-motivated. You have strong
communication skills, both written, verbal, and interpersonal. You
have the ability to support a 24/7 production environment. Work
schedules could include day, night, swing or weekend schedules as
