As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will oversee general accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help streamline accounting processes. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of financial information and compliance with regulations.

Duties Include:
As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will:
--- Prepare & review journal entries, account reconciliations, & month-end close procedures.
--- Maintain & ensure accuracy of the general ledger & subsidiary ledgers.
--- Analyze financial statements for discrepancies & provide detailed explanations of variances.
--- Assist with budget preparation & forecasting.
--- Prepare & support external audit requirements & liaise with auditors.
--- Ensure compliance with GAAP & applicable regulations.
--- Develop & document business processes & accounting policies to maintain & strengthen internal controls.
--- Participate in system upgrades or implementations as needed.
--- Prepare reports for management, i.e. balance sheets, profit & loss statements, & other financial analysis.


To qualify for a Senior Staff Accountant position with us:
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
--- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
--- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
--- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
--- Proficiency with accounting and fixed asset software (e.g., Sage Intacct, Asset Accountant).
--- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
--- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
--- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
--- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
--- Effective interpersonal & communication skills
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities required:
--- Experience in Healthcare industry a plus.
--- Familiarity with ERP systems and process automation tools.
--- Analytical thinker with a solution-oriented approach.
--- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
--- Experience in Power BI is preferred.
--- Data Analytics driven.
--- Results oriented.
--- Strong interpersonal & communication skills, both written & verbal.
--- Proven ability to mentor & train team members.
--- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
