Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Summary: Verifies,
pre-qualifies, and processes application information for mortgage
loans and completes loan transactions between the bank, sellers,
and borrowers after loans have been approved by performing the
following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include
the following. Other duties may be assigned. Customer Interaction:
Conduct interviews with mortgage applicants to assess their
financial situation and gather necessary documentation for loan
applications. Application Processing: Manage the mortgage
application process from origination to closing, ensuring all
applications are submitted in a timely manner and adhere to TRID
guidelines. Education & Product Knowledge: Educate customers on
available mortgage products and services, addressing their specific
needs and helping them make informed decisions. Credit Review:
Analyze applicants' credit reports and financial references to
assess qualifications for loan products, providing constructive
feedback to those who are not approved. Document Management: Work
closely with mortgage processors to ensure that all initial
documents are submitted promptly and accurately. Underwriting
Coordination: Collaborate with mortgage underwriter to satisfy any
conditions or requests needed for loan approval. Cross-Selling:
Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional bank products and
services that align with customer needs. Collaboration: Communicate
effectively with all parties involved in the transaction, including
real estate agents, title companies, insurance agents, and others,
to facilitate a smooth loan process. Closing Coordination: Attend
all loan closings, providing expertise and support, particularly
for portfolio loans, to ensure a successful completion of the
transaction. Community Engagement: Engage in networking events,
real estate functions, staff meetings, and open houses to showcase
the company and its mortgage products. Conduct sales calls to
realtors and organize lunch and learn sessions. Policy Compliance:
Follow and support the company’s policies and procedures
accurately, positively representing the company's culture and
values. Goal Achievement : Work towards achieving annual goals as
assigned by management. Training Compliance : Complete all required
annual regulatory and cybersecurity training curriculum as
assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory
responsibilities. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully,

Experience Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year
college or technical school; or two to three years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and
interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write
reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to
effectively present information and respond to questions from
managers, customers, and employees. Mathematical Skills Ability to
calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply
concepts of basic algebra. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply
common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems
involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations Ohio NMLS License Valid
Ohio Driver’s License Licensed Notary Public – Ohio (Recommended)
