Administrative Assistant Primary Service Center: Springfield, Ohio (South Limestone Location) FLSA Status: Exempt (Salary) Work Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, some evening may be required Position Summary and Responsibilities: Full-time position responsible for supporting the CEO and Leadership team members and operations at Rocking Horse Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :--- Assists Board of Trustees and committees with materials, meetings, logistics and other items as needed.--- Attends meetings and prepares minutes for the Board of Trustees, and other Committees and meetings as assigned.--- Assists with day to day clerical needs including but not limited to letters, presentations, other correspondence, scheduling meetings and meeting rooms.--- Handles general material supply ordering and preparation of purchase orders. Enters purchase order information into accounting management system.--- Manages and coordinates general supply storage and distribution.--- Manages and maintains a comprehensive and up to date record of organizational policies.--- Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential function.--- High School Diploma or GED equivalent and three to five years experience in similar job experience preferred.--- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and policies. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public. Ability to take and produce meeting minutes in a timely manner.--- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of general office software such as Database software; Excel software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software and the ability and skills to learn other software that pertains to the job.--- Current drivers license and an acceptable driving record.--- Staff is required to understand the privacy policies and procedures. Patient Health Information (PHI) is confidential; only the minimal amount of PHI necessary to accomplish the internal purpose is to be shared or released by staff.Pre-screening includes pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check (reimbursed upon negative results).
