An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students, with a focus on high school learners, in an engaging school environment located in Westerville, OH. This contract position runs from the start date ASAP through June 22, 2026, with the potential for renewal. The role involves a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week across five days, providing specialized instruction and interventions to meet students diverse learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored educational programs aligned with individual student IEPs. Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary. Utilize evidence-based instructional methods to foster academic and social growth. Maintain compliance with all state and district special education regulations. Qualifications: Valid Ohio Department of Education K-12 Intervention Specialist License. Experience working within special education settings, preferably with high school students. Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and staff.
