Job Description Job Description Salary: $25.00 - $27.00 Position Title: Quality Assurance CMM Quality Inspector (3rd Shift) Location: Onsite Troy, OH Schedule: MondayThursday, 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Employment Type: Direct Hire Background Check/Drug Screen: Required About the Role A growing aerospace manufacturing facility in Troy, OH is urgently seeking a CMM Quality Inspector to join their night shift team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring dimensional accuracy and product quality during off-hours production. Youll perform detailed inspections using advanced metrology tools and CMM equipment in a fast-paced but supportive environment. This is a great opportunity for a precision-driven professional who enjoys working independently while maintaining high standards of quality control. Key Responsibilities Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) with PC-DMIS software Perform 1st piece, in-process, and final inspections Interpret engineering drawings with strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Use inspection tools including OD Micrometers, Comparators, Pitch Micrometers, and Depth Micrometers Inspect for and measure circular runout, total runout, and cylindricity Record precise inspection results and maintain documentation Work independently while coordinating with day shift QA as needed Qualifications Required: Minimum 2 years of experience operating a CMM (PC-DMIS strongly preferred) Solid understanding of GD&T and blueprint interpretation Proficient with precision instruments: OD Mics, Pitch Mics, Depth Mics, Comparators, etc. Experience inspecting complex components with tight tolerances Reliable and self-motivated with good communication skills Preferred: Experience using Sheffield and Brown & Sharpe CMM machines Stable work history with a strong focus on quality and detail Ability to thrive in a high-output manufacturing environment Work Environment & Growth The company culture is busy but laid-back, with a focus on teamwork and accountability.
