Job Description:

Become a trusted advisor to commercial customers by helping prevent equipment failures and keeping kitchens running at their best. In this role, you’ll service a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment while working independently and building strong customer relationships. What’s in It for You Company service vehicle, fuel card, computer, and cell phone Comprehensive benefits (401(k), pension, PTO) Career growth opportunities into advanced technician or management roles What You’ll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration, cooking, beverage, and dish machines Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagrams and schematics Deliver reliable, customer-focused service across restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and other commercial facilities Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of technical experience (refrigeration, HVAC, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, or military) Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Ability to participate in an on-call rotation (nights/weekends) Ability to travel overnight occasionally No immigration sponsorship available Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform frequent kneeling, bending, and reaching Comfortable working with electrical components, pressurized systems, open flames, and heated surfaces Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and in varying environmental conditions Preferred Qualifications Technical training or certifications (EPA, CFESA, etc.) Experience with commercial refrigeration or cooking equipment Self-motivated with the ability to work independently About Smart Care Smart Care is a national repair and service provider for commercial foodservice, refrigeration, and cold storage equipment.
