Resources will oversee and manage the entire Region Americas Human
Resources group. This region consists of the US, Canada, and Latin
America (Brazil, Chile, Mexico & Peru). This candidate will be
directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination
and execution of the Human Resources function and drive our
Diversity and Inclusion program in the Region Americas. Position
will have 10 to 12 direct reports. This is a highly visible
position and with the expectation and opportunity to make
recommendations to executive management for improvement of the
policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.The VP,
Human Resources, main responsibilities can be divided into 5 main
areas:1. HR and Diversity and Inclusion strategy, culture
development and operational organization support for Americas
Region managementVP HR, Americas develops the people and D&I
strategy for Americas Region together with the Region Management
according to the Group guidance. VP HR, Americas supports the
culture and organizational development projects in the Region and
ensures Region Management support of people processes and support
in day to day issues. They also support all Acquisition Integration
and change management activities in the region.2. Ensures high
quality HR Development programs in Business AreasVP HR, Americas
supports the Region in implementing their HR strategies in the
Units and ensures the Region and Country specific developmental
programs are on a required level. VP HR, Americas supports the
Region Management in employee core capability planning. They
support the training organization in selecting the training needed
for the region and ensures that the gaps between the business need
and development portfolio is bridged.3. Compensation and
Benefits.VP HR, Americas ensures the effectiveness and efficiency
of compensation tools in Americas. They help management to design
motivating reward models for Americas and manages the salary
budget. They are responsible for the benefit policy benchmarking
and ensure that relevant market data is used in when making pay
decisions. They are also responsible of daily management of pension
(401k, medical, dental etc.) cost development and ensuring
competitiveness of the total benefit package.4. Employee
Relations.Is responsible of the compliance local employment laws,
regulations and work councils. They facilitate the relationship
with employee representative, works councils and unions when
necessary and manage the relationship with employees together with
the manager in organizational transitions.5. Leads the Region HR
TeamVP HR, Americas sets the operative frame, goals and strategy
for the Americas Country HR teams together with the Region and
Country Management. VP HR, Americas leads and develops the Country
HRs to meet the global and local objectives for HR in collaboration
with Group HR.The successful candidate must have:* Bachelor's
degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree
preferred * 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience;
Experience must include a minimum of 5 years managing and
developing a Human Resources staff, including staff in multiple
locations * Substantial US Human Resources knowledge and experience
leading a US Human Resources team * Experience/knowledge in all
functional areas of Human Resources * PHR; SPHR preferred *
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to
relate to individuals at all levels within the organization and be
able to objectively coach, counsel and guide both managers and
employees through complex, difficult and emotional issues * Ability
to research and analyze various types of data * Avoid legal
challenges by understanding current legislation, enforcing
regulations with managers, recommending new policies and procedures
* Able to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems *
Self-directed and self-motivated. * Ability to travel as needed
both domestically and internationally as required by the business.
Requires a valid driver's license and ability to obtain a
