right position for you! As a HR Manager you will be responsible for
leading a team tasked with delivering Human Resource services to
the majority of Ohio Gordon Food Service (GFS) locations in support
of strategic vision, business objectives and mission. That includes
ensuring implementation of best practices in talent acquisition,
performance management, employee relations, benefits, compensation,
learning and development, succession planning and leadership
development. Collaborating with the shared services and utilizing
tools, processes and resources to deliver HR Services to division.

Working with regional and divisional senior leadership,
implementing Human Resource initiatives in support of divisional
and corporate strategic and financial goalsManages annual capital
and operational expensesManages the human resources department
staff, including interviewing, hiring, training and retention of
staff.
Conducts performance monitoring, initiates follow through with
disciplinary action and termination in consultation with Home
Office Human Resources when appropriate.
Mentors, motivates, and develops staff and serves as a
resource.Develop divisional HR goals and initiatives that align
with Company goalsUnderstands business strategies, evaluates and
analyzes key performance data and collaborates as a business
partner to develop solutions.Performs other duties as assigned or
as are needed to provide a high level of service. Leading
Candidates will differentiate themselves with these strengths: Five
or more years of human resources experience with prior leadership
or management experience preferred or an equivalent combination of
education, training, and professional experience.Bachelor degree in
Human Resources, business, or related field requiredSenior
Professional Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional Human Resources
