Job Description:
A healthcare technology company is in need of a Remote Inpatient
Medical Coder.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following
responsibilities:
Accurately extract clinical information from records according to
established requirements using abstracting software
Assign MS-DRG, APC's and modifiers to client records for claim
submission
Provide coding services including ICD-10-CM/PCS coding, CPT-4
coding, and abstracting in all health care settings
Skills and Requirements Include:
1-3 years Inpatient Coding experience with both quality and
productivity requirements
National Coding Certification through AHIMA or AAPC is required
(RHIA, RHIT, CCS or CIC)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Excel and MS office products
