As a CCU RN, you'll deliver specialized care to critically ill cardiac patients in high-acuity hospital settings. This role is ideal for experienced ICU nurses who are passionate about cardiac care and thrive in fast-paced environments.Key Responsibilities:--- Provide direct nursing care to patients with complex cardiac conditions such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, and post-cardiac surgery recovery--- Continuously monitor vital signs, EKGs, and cardiac rhythms--- Administer and titrate cardiac medications, including vasopressors and antiarrhythmics--- Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans--- Respond rapidly to cardiac emergencies and assist with resuscitation efforts--- Document patient assessments and interventions in the EMR system (e.g., EPIC, Cerner)Qualifications:--- Active RN license (state-specific or compact license accepted)--- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience; cardiac ICU or CCU experience preferred--- BLS and ACLS certifications required--- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills--- Familiarity with advanced cardiac life support protocolsAt ARMStaffing we take care of our nurses!
