Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to provide locum
tenens coverage in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Springfield, OH
Facility. The PA will work closely with the cardiovascular surgeon,
manage adult and geriatric patients, and coordinate perioperative
and inpatient care. Surgical assistance is not required, but strong
experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery or Critical Care is essential.
Job Responsibilities: Report directly to the Cardiovascular Surgeon
Manage and round on 5–10 patients per day Coordinate patient care
across surgical and critical care services Write prescriptions and
manage medication plans Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Perform procedures within scope (excluding retrieval of vascular
tissues) Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize
outcomes Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and order entry
