Providing excellent nursing care to post-acute residents in areas
nearby Supporting residents with basic activities of daily living
(ADLs) like eating, personal hygiene, and grooming Protecting
resident health and safety by supporting a clean, sanitary, and
hazard-free environment Assisting with the transportation and
movement of residents around the facility, as needed Documenting
and reporting resident vital signs and updating the nursing team on
the physical and mental conditions of residents Being accountable
to follow and adhere to care plans for residents and all applicable
policies, rules, and regulations Engaging with residents in ways
that build relationships based on a sense of security and trust
Communicating between, and among, staff, residents, and family
members in ways that support transparency and the comfort of
residents Qualifications and Skills Current Ohio State Tested
Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification Understanding of general
nursing care procedures and terminology Ability to communicate with
medical professionals as well as patients/residents and their
family members High level of attention to detail Lifting
