Job Opportunity: Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director Pediatrix is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our esteemed healthcare team at a leading medical facility in Athens, OH. Job Responsibilities: Lead a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists. Provide newborn nursery care with NICU support from Neonatologists. Manage 24/7 on-call coverage using a round-and-go model with call from home. Perform circumcisions as part of the Pediatric Hospitalist role. Provide expert Pediatric consultations to the Emergency Department. Collaborate closely with Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologists for coordinated care. Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research. Exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers. Qualifications: Board Certified in Pediatrics (Required). Ohio license (or willing to obtain) (Required). Recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active) (Required). Previous employment experience in leadership role(s) (Preferred). DEA (must be obtained prior to start) (Required). License and Certification Requirements: Board Certified in Pediatrics. Valid Ohio medical license or willingness to acquire. DEA registration prior to starting.
