IV starts and general nursing skills - Patient monitoring and
medication administration - Patient education and EPIC experience
Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in
Medical Surgical. The role includes working three 12-hour night
shifts. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Candidates must have two
years of experience in Med-Surg/Telemetry. Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certifications are
preferred. Skills include IV starts, general nursing capabilities,
patient monitoring, and medication administration. Experience with
EPIC charting system is necessary. The patient population includes
adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census averages 24
patients in the unit. Registered Nurses are required to float to
different units as needed. Candidates must meet background checks
and credentialing requirements promptly. Two professional
references are required, with at least one from a manager or
