Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: OB/GYN Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied 12-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of OB Experience, Must have completed 1 Travel Assignment License: Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association ACLS Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Active S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification Active Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification Must-Have: Ability to function as a 1st assist and Scrub OB (highly preferred) Description: The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on their shift. RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs and Unit Secretaries.
