health of the community. Position Summary The Clinical Dietitian
applies Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and incorporates
research-based practice to best serve our patients in the Inpatient
hospital environment. Responsibilities Develops, implements, and
documents nutrition plan of care and will include a Nutrition
Focused Physical Exam as appropriate. Provides nutrition education
to patients and their families Provides ongoing nutrition
monitoring for patients as indicated Calculates Enteral and
Parenteral needs and communicates with other disciplines regarding
management of alternate nutrition. Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university
Licensure / Certification: Requires current Commission on Dietetic
Registration (CDR) credential as a Registered Dietitian. Must be a
registered dietitian licensed in the state of Ohio. Completes
continuing professional educational requirements to maintain
credentials Experience as a clinical registered and licensed
dietitian preferred. Open to new graduates Ability to effectively
present information and respond to questions from groups of medical
staff, healthcare professionals, managers, etc LMH is accredited by
DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education
related to specialty certifications and standards. Licking Memorial
