Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: LTAC/Telemetry Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-5 years of experience required License: Must have a valid RN license Certifications: ACLS & BLS certifications required Must-Have: - Vent/trach experience - Knowledge of central lines - Preferred wound care experience Description: The LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills and scientific judgment. Leadership in anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care is essential. Maintaining clinical competencies through continuing education is required. The nurse delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available.
