Contract Therapist ! The NewPath Child & Family Solutions 1099
Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic trauma-informed
clinical services to individual clients and identified support
caregivers and/or family members while focusing on meeting the
client's individual mental health needs. The NewPath 1099 Therapist
is responsible for creating treatment plans in conjunction with the
youth and their family developing transition plans that address
ongoing treatment issues and maintaining a working knowledge of
services that are appropriate for the needs of the clients served
through NewPath. What you'll be doing: Provide mental health
services to clients via therapy sessions while following required
service guidelines. Create treatment plans in conjunction with the
youth and their family. Develop transition plans that address
ongoing treatment issues. Complete all quality assurance monitoring
expectations for evaluation and treatment purposes per program
standards. Make initial contact with clients and their families
within 24 hours of assignment. Make weekly contact (or as specified
in the Individualized Service Plan/Level of Care) with the client
and/or family/caregiver. Complete all necessary mental health
assessments and link clients and families with needed resources.
Deliver culturally competent services to clients. Utilize
collaborative documentation for all progress notes and relevant
clinical documentation. Facilitate and document care coordination
to gather psychosocial information necessary for treatment
decisions and positive outcomes for youth. Achieve weekly billable
hours according to program requirements. Qualifications: Master's
degree in a Human Service-related field from an accredited college
required. Professional license (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT) in good
standing at all times required. Previous mental health therapy
experience with an understanding of various mental health
diagnoses. Experience utilizing technology-based therapy services
and providing services to a diverse population of clients.
Initiative and ability to work independently. Excellent
problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and
professional in a crisis situation. Must be at least 21 years of
age, have a valid driver's license, and proof of current automobile
insurance. Have a clean driving record with no more than 5 points
and be able to pass a background check. NewPath Child & Family
