Local and reliable candidates are encouraged to apply to support successful role fulfillment. The role involves assessing clients' physical capacities, developmental, and psychosocial functions using standardized and non-standardized assessment tools. The occupational therapist plans, coordinates, and implements individual and group treatment plans for clients. They determine appropriate therapy techniques, sequence, and coordinate treatment plans with other programs for the overall benefit of clients. Consultation with clients, healthcare professionals, and other interested parties regarding client progress and recommendations for treatment is essential. Participation in planning, organizing, and controlling occupational therapy services, policies, and procedures is a critical aspect of the role. The therapist works as an interdisciplinary team member and assesses suitable adaptive equipment. Documentation of evaluations, observations, and assessments of client performance is required. Recording treatment plans and revisions and requisitioning supplies and equipment are responsibilities of the position. Maintaining records and staying updated with current knowledge relevant to occupational therapy through continued education is necessary. Attendance at staff meetings is also expected.
