Job Description:
Wallick Communities, a leader in affordable and senior living
space management, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed
Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Located in
Columbus, Ohio, Wallick aims to enhance the living experiences of
our residents through top-tier healthcare services. In this role,
the LPN will be integral in providing direct nursing care to our
residents in accordance with our established policies and
procedures, ensuring comfort and well-being. Provide basic medical
care, including changing bandages, administering medication, and
collecting specimens. Ensure the health and well-being of residents
by monitoring vital signs and patient symptoms, and reporting any
changes to the registered nurse or doctor on duty. Assist with
daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
Follow all healthcare plans directed by health professionals and
ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations. Maintain
accurate records of patient care, condition, progress, and
concerns. Respond effectively to emergencies and provide necessary
nursing interventions. Educate residents and their families on
health maintenance and disease prevention. Proficiency in nursing
practices and procedures. Ability to operate medical equipment.
Strong observational skills to detect changes in patient health.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with residents,
families, and healthcare teams. Time management and organizational
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Current and valid LPN license in the state of Ohio. CPR
certification recommended.
