Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/09/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during shift • Perform patient assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria • Make clinical judgments based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills • Assist in planning, directing and teaching non-RN staff including LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries • Work every other weekend schedule • No on-call responsibilities • Must float to all units within skill level • 2 years of nursing experience required • Post-operative open heart care experience required • Critical care experience highly preferred • Chest tube and other drain management experience required • Pre- and post-procedure care for patients with radial and femoral access required • Proficiency in cardiac monitoring including reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips required • Recognize and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms • Advanced knowledge of cardiac and pulmonary abnormalities required • Experience assisting with chest tube removal and pericardial pacing wire removal • Management of temporary pacers including pericardial and transcutaneous devices • Use and troubleshooting of non-invasive ventilation devices, high-flow oxygen, and oxygen delivery systems • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) • Ohio nursing license or compact license required • Current telemetry skills checklist within one year required Facility: This healthcare facility operates as a main campus providing comprehensive medical services with specialized cardiac and telemetry units.
