Job Description:
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced nuclear med tech
for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you’ll
work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and be
responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and
operate radiation detection and imaging equipment. Minimum
Requirements An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine
technology. State license and certification to practice nuclear
medicine. BLS certification. Minimum 1 year experience as a nuclear
medicine technologist preferred. Experience with Dose Calibrator,
Geiger Counter, Captus well counter and uptake probe. Experience
operating Stress Lab equipment including EKG machines and
treadmills. Experience using glucometer, blood pressure monitors,
and pulse oximeters. Experience in diagnostic and therapeutic
nuclear medicine and participation in on-call rotations. Ability to
work in a fast-paced hospital diagnostic imaging environment and
