Events Manager to our team at the prestigious Miami University in
Oxford, Ohio! This role is responsible for the successful execution
of a variety of campus events. You will supervise and provide
hands-on support in sales and event order communications,
scheduling and training of service staff, planning, delivery, set
up, clean up, and proper invoicing for all daily events. Join

leader! Key Responsibilities Provide daily operations support for
the successful execution of campus events. Supervise and develop
staff for operational excellence. Collaborate with culinary teams
as needed. Led financial management, labor analysis, and other cost
controls. Lead and enhance special events in partnership with
university and Chartwells. Lead on going marketing and sales for
event space. Preferred Qualifications A.S. or equivalent
experience. 3 years of event management or strong catering event
management skills. Hospitality knowledge and interest in
sustainability and sustainable food practices. Ability to interact
with diverse and high-volume customer base in a friendly and
efficient manner. Ability to operate Web based ordering system,
process customer requests, changes to orders, menu updates and
client profiles. Proficient with word processing and spread sheet
applications. Ability to write professional and efficient emails to
clients and customers. Utilize all Personal Protective Equipment’s
per Company guidelines. Ability to work at times with minimal
supervision, and accomplish tasks without direct instruction, and
