**Description**

The Lead Agile Coach Coaches, educates and mentors organizational leaders and their teams to instill a scaled, successful enterprise-wide adoption of Agile methodologies and practices including Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The Lead Agile Coach works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

**Responsibilities**

An Agile Coach optimizes the effectiveness of a company, business unit, or team and creates an environment where teams collaborate effectively to maximize the value that they deliver, and effectively utilize employee skills. They help design, launch, and support the deployment of Humana's Agile Transformation. Working closely with the Transformation Lead and Change Manager for the Journey Team, or team leadership for EAC teams, the Agile Coach will mentor and guide teams in adopting and practicing Lean, Agile, and servant leadership principles. When working with a Journey team, the Agile Coach will focus on mentoring the architecture team-level scrum master on skills needed to successfully scrum and coach the team to a point of readiness where the scrum master will be able to carry out these responsibilities independently. Additionally, the Agile Coach will act as a coach for the entire scrum team as they begin to adopt Agile methods and practices.

**Typical Routines**

+ Acts as an Agile coach to 1-3 teams and/or EAC scrum team

+ Uses Agile subject matter expertise to coach new and existing teams on Agile practices, and influence Journey team and leaders on the culture change required to shift from a traditional to an Agile approach and mindset

+ Attend team scrum events and other working sessions as a guide and mentor

+ Hold regular 1x1 coaching conversations with the Architecture Team Scrum Master and Product Manager/Owner, and with other members of the team as needed

+ Participate as a member of the Journey Transformation team, JTT, attending meetings and events

+ Provides regular feedback to Journey team(s) and JTT leadership

+ Provides consistency in education/training, messaging, and support to Journey teams

+ Drives effective practices and program consistency

+ Co-facilitates workshops

**Required**

+ 3-5 Years experience as an Agile Coach

**Desired**

+ Certifications from the following organizations - Scrum Alliance, Professional Scrum, IC Agile, SAFe

**Additional Information:**

_Humana and its subsidiaries require vaccinated associates who work outside of their home to submit proof of vaccination, including COVID-19 boosters. Associates who remain unvaccinated must either undergo weekly negative COVID testing OR wear a mask at all times while in a Humana facility or while working in the field._

**Work-At-Home Requirements**

+ WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

+ A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

+ Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

+ A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
