Job Description:
At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are at the forefront of cloud
technology and data center innovations. We are seeking a highly
skilled and motivated Data Center Controls Engineer to join our
Data Center Capacity Delivery team. In this role, you will be
responsible for overseeing the design, maintenance, and
optimization of building controls and automation systems that
support AWS's vast data center operations. This position is crucial
in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and sustainability of our
services that thousands of companies rely on globally. Design,
implement, and optimize data center control systems. Collaborate
with cross-functional teams to develop scalable and reliable data
center infrastructure solutions. Monitor system performance,
troubleshoot issues, and propose enhancements. Ensure compliance
with all safety, reliability, and efficiency standards. Provide
technical leadership and support for project management.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 operational
excellence. Proficiency in PLC/SCADA systems Strong understanding
of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in data centers Ability
to analyze complex systems and data to make informed decisions
Strong problem-solving and project management skills Excellent
