We are currently seeking a reliable CDL A Truck Driver to handle our growing needs for direct logistics services. This role requires a proactive and safe approach to transport deliveries, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for punctual and secure transportation solutions. Operate a tractor-trailer or truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Plan routes to meet delivery schedules and adapt to traffic conditions. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Manage documentation related to cargo, vehicle condition, and hours driven. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors to report any incidents or discrepancies. Handle cargo with attention to safety and efficiency, ensuring no damage to goods. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A). Proven work experience as a truck driver. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.).
