transforming your career. Supplier Relationship Sr Mgr What you
will do Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you
will lead the development of a global packaging strategy for
cartons, be the site lead / liaison for External Supply and the
supplier relationship managers and drive multiple supplier
relationship both domestically and globally. Your responsibilities
will ensure consistent high-quality products that are protected
through developed mitigation strategies to ensure supply to our
sites and ultimately our patients. You will help develop, design
and implement key metrics to drive supplier performance not just on
commercial operations, but through development, improvement, and
productivity projects. In this role you will be a part of a team
that oversees supplier engagement of Amgens external network of
packaging suppliers to ensure uninterrupted supply of quality
materials to support Amgens clinical and commercial portfolio. This
role will lead the resiliency strategy and deployment of other
category level initiatives for all suppliers under this scope to
support Amgens volume driven growth. You will be expected to
identify and drive strategic cross-functional continuous
improvement and transformation initiatives to advance functional
processes and network level standardization. Key responsibilities
of this role include: Partner with Package Engineering, Quality,
Site Manufacturing and Supply Chain to ensure supply Develop global
carton, leaflets and label category strategies and drive the
strategies through supplier engagement. Define specific supplier
engagements/projects to align with site goals and be accountable
for their execution. Be a Strategic Thinker: Balance supplier
partnership with performance accountability; Develop and supervise
key metrics to measure and track the performance across suppliers,
Lead external and internal operating review meetings, and Develop /
implement performance improvement plans when required Lead
cross-functional teams with clear accountability for performance
and ensure the supply, quality, and cost of raw materials from our
global network of suppliers consistently meets the needs of
operations. Actively participate in supply/supplier long range
forecasting, capacity planning and project management. Identify and
drive continuous improvement initiatives to advance
standardization, mature existing processes, and transform current
ways of working Lead and/or be a thought partner on issue
resolution and problem solving Manage executive escalations and
communication, as needed Build and maintain a vast network of
stakeholders across all packaging sites, corporate functions and
suppliers Provide influence through expertise in the
design/development phases of packaging: informing supplier
capabilities, cost analysis, supply chain processes, warehousing
constraints, and other supply related factors. Provide leadership
in the identification, evaluation and selection of packaging
suppliers to advance our pipeline, network expansion, risk
management, supply resiliency initiatives and other Operations
initiatives. Create and maintain external intelligence insights
including assessment of industry trends, technology advancement,
and supplier landscape. Travel 20%: Domestic What we expect of you

with these qualifications. Basic Qualifications: High school
diploma / GED and 12 years of Manufacturing or Packaging experience
in a GMP environment; Or Associates degree and 10 years of
Manufacturing or Packaging experience in a GMP environment; Or
Bachelors degree and 6 years of Manufacturing or Packaging
experience in a GMP environment; Or Masters degree and 4 years of
Manufacturing or Packaging experience in a GMP environment; Or
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Manufacturing or Packaging
experience in a GMP environment. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors in Business Administration, Engineering or Science 8
years demonstrated experience in Pharmaceutical or equivalent
package engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, process
development or supplier management 8 years working knowledge of
cGMP principles and other regulatory guidelines 5 years
demonstrated competency working with external supplier/customers
and leading large cross-functional teams supporting production 5
years of project management experience leading cross-functional,
multi-company teams 3 years managing or a part of executive
sponsored teams Demonstrated knowledge of regulated packaging
Self-starter with a high-level of comfort with ambiguity and
complexity and the ability to multi-task while consistently
delivering quality results Strong leader with executive presence
who is quick on their feet, can hold their own with site leadership
and can influence across functions, sites, and suppliers
Experienced team member of a cross-functional, matrixed team with
effective writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills to
address a broad scope of audiences An eye for business, high-level
critical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills with the
ability to structure, pragmatically scope and solve problems
Demonstrated quantitative skills including experience in business
process development and standardization, operational excellence or
transformation initiatives Strong knowledge in the use of project
management methodologies and tools, resource management practices

salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is
$xxx,xxx.00 to $xxx,xxx.00. Actual salary will vary based on
several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills,
experience, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary,
