Job Description:

Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) seeks a dedicated Printing Press Operator to join our team in support of our global initiatives to provide relief, development, and peace. As part of our print media department, this role emphasizes the importance of high-quality print materials that communicate the impact of our work and raise awareness. The operator will manage the settings, maintenance, and operation of our printing presses, ensuring timeliness, efficiency, and quality in all print productions. Prepare and operate printing machines and perform adjustments for printing jobs. Inspect and verify printed materials for clarity, accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications. Maintain daily print job documentation and a clean working environment. Monitor inventory levels of printing supplies and materials, and order as necessary. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on presses to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot issues related to print quality, order accuracy, and machine performance. Proficiency in operating complex printing machinery Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues related to print jobs Good communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certifications in Print Media Technology or Graphic Communications are advantageous.
