Job Description:

The City of Middletown is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Garage Superintendent. This is a supervisory position responsible for planning, directing, and monitoring the acquisition, maintenance, repair, and disposal of a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment; and for supervising and directing the work of the mechanics. Position is responsible for safety of city vehicles and equipment, reviewing accident reports and coordinating safety activities.

Requirements: High School Diploma or GED supplemented by courses in fleet management, motor and equipment mechanical work or equivalent training; minimum of 5 years' experience in fleet maintenance or vehicle maintenance activities, including supervisory experience.

Salary range: $83,391 to $120,416 plus excellent benefits package.
