A highly regarded manufacturer of extruded plastics and industrial films is seeking a Maintenance Multi-Craft Technician (Electrical) to join their team in Marietta, Ohio. As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of manufacturing equipment and control systems in a three (3) shift production facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
--- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.

---Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.

---Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

---Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

---Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments.

---Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

---Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.

---Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

---Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
---High School Diploma or equivalency.

---Three (3) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with electrical systems up to 480 volts, control systems and PLC's.

---Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.

---Candidates who have completed an approved apprentice program in Electrical will be given strongest consideration.

---Must be able to work any shift and weekends as necessary to support production equipment and plant needs.


PHYSICAL DEMAMDS:
---While performing this job the employee is required to talk and hear.

---This position is very active and requires walking, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing (stairs and ladders).

---The employee frequently lifts and/or moves items up to 50 pounds.

---Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Offers a starting pay of $26.74 per hour. After the completion of 720 hours worked, associates will have their pay increased to $29.71 per hour and become eligible for additional benefits.
