Buckeye Power Sales has been providing on site power solutions for businesses, contractors, engineers, municipalities and homeowners since 1947, which makes us the oldest Rehlko (formerly Kohle r) generator distributor in the country. We are also a distributor of Siemens Energy engines and generators for a wide range of power generation applications such as combined heat and power, waste to power, prime, and continuous. Our Industrial Sales Reps are responsible for: Performing sales calls in person, over the phone, and via e-mail Developing a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling, direct mail activities and networking Managing selling activities so as to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction Working with customers to resolve problems and provide solutions Seeking and continuously developing knowledge and information about competitor activity, pricing and tactics, and communicates this to relevant Company staff Utilizing CRM to follow up on quotes and selling benefits of BPS/Rehlko Coordinating with Sales Support & Service Team on sale, delivery and start-up of generators Providing ideas to Marketing and Sales Manager that will help grow the product line Attending sales seminars, sales meetings, or educational activities to stay up to date on the latest developments, trends, regulations and products in the market place Achieving business and organizational goals, visions, and objectives Buckeye Power Sales offers an inclusive benefit package for our Industrial Sales Reps, including: Competitive pay with Commission Regular day shift hours Advancement Opportunities Excellent benefit package (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, Company Paid STD/LTD/Life, AND MORE) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Parental Bonding, Jury Duty, Bereavement, Volunteer) To find more reasons you want to work with us at Buckeye Power Sales, visit: YouTube: youtube.com/buckeyepowersales Facebook: facebook.com/BuckeyePowerSales LinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/buckeyepowersales Twitter: twitter.com/buckeyepowersls Requirements Conforms with the core values of BPS High School diploma or equivalent (Engineering degree preferred) 18 years of age 2 yrs minimum experience with Power Generation required 2-5 yrs minimum experience in sales preferred Able to read (or learn to read), analyze & interpret engineering specifications, documents & regulations Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability through company insurer Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English Ability to write reports and business correspondence Ability to travel within established Territory Excellent customer service skills Excellent listening skills Excellent Problem-Solving skills Above average math skills; able to calculate discounts, gross profit, percentages Strong presentation skills and ability to influence others Excellent negotiation skills Capable of preserving confidential and sensitive material Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task required Computer skills to include MS office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); data entry Must represent the company in a positive manner at all times including a professional appearance Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends Must be able to pass background check and periodic drug screens & license checks Salary is based on Skills and Experience Military Friendly, DFWP, EOE Salary listed is base salary.
